An official Marion County docket, hearing date, or case document must be confirmed by the court that maintains the record. This privately run reference cannot obtain files or speak for a clerk. District Court matters should be directed to the Marion County Clerk of the District Court, while a city ordinance or municipal traffic matter belongs with the municipal court that filed it.

This Is Not a Court or Government Office. This website operates independently from Marion County, the Kansas courts, and every clerk's office. It cannot retrieve a docket, change a setting, seal or remove a case, certify a copy, or advise anyone about a legal matter. Direct those requests to the court or clerk responsible for the case.

Need an Official Docket or Record?

The following routes match common Marion County court needs with the office or official tool that can address them:

  • Official docket sheet: locate the District Court matter in the Kansas case portal, then ask the clerk for the official record if needed
  • Hearing date: review the Eighth Judicial District Marion calendar and telephone the clerk to confirm a recent reset or change
  • Certified document: order it from the Clerk of the District Court, who can confirm the current authentication charge
  • Known case: provide the full case number, party name, and requested document when contacting the custodian
  • Municipal file: contact the specific city court because city ordinance and city traffic records are not held in the county District Court file
